A cup of tea with Shakespeare

William Shakespeare himself entertains the young audience with curious stories about his own life, by interpreting and quoting some of his most celebrated verses and works. Theatre and its deep feelings are here shown through the experience of a brilliant artist from the 15th century with the ironic approach of 2014. He strolls up and down the stage while sipping a cup of tea in the most “English manner”.
A performance which is also a lecture, during which the actor will try to get the young audience to feel involved in the language of poetry. English language will be used along with Italian language, this will vary each time according to the level of comprehension shown by the listeners.
The selected monologues have been extracted from: The Life of King Henry the Fifth, Romeo and Juliet, Richard III, Measure for Measure, Hamlet, As You Like It, Macbeth.

William Shakespeare in persona intrattiene il giovane pubblico raccontando aneddoti curiosi della sua vita, citando e interpretando alcuni versi dalle opere più famose da lui scritte. Il teatro e le sue emozioni, vissute da un artista geniale del 1600 e raccontate con gusto e ironia nel 2013, preparandosi una tazza di tè “all’inglese” sul palcoscenico.
Una lezione-spettacolo dove l’autore in persona appassionerà e incuriosirà al linguaggio e alla poesia dei suoi versi il giovane pubblico. In lingua Inglese e Italiana.
L’attore calibrerà la recitazione in lingua Inglese con quella in lingua Italiana a seconda del livello di comprensione del pubblico.
I monologhi interpretati sono rigorosamente in versi e in lingua Inglese e sono tratti da: Enrico V, Romeo e Giulietta, Riccardo III, Misura per Misura, Amleto, Come ti piace, Macbeth.
