1 DAY WORKSHOP: Preparing for the stage
2 DAY WORKSHOP: Interpretation: discipline and creativity
This module has been created for participants, over 16 years of age, with a specific interest such as drama students, theatre amateurs, aspiring professionals, performing arts workers and teachers.
This module will explore what is needed to transform the written text into "living truth" (Stanislavski). We will study the approach to the creative process and will analyse the phases that accompany an actor during the rehearsal period.
Participants will explore:
- Vocal and Physical Warm up
- Concentration and body awareness
- How to recognise the creative process
- Improvisation
- Interpretative Expression
These workshops may be employed sequentially or independently.
