It’s 6:07am and Juliet myself and Ali are on the train to the airport to fly to Roma...We got to bed at around 1am so have felt better.

Lecce was stunning, every inch of it was covered with ornate churches and little Via’s and Strades. The theatre, did indeed, live up to expectation. It was huge, and beautiful.

At 1.30am the other morning I heard blue murder being shouted by some Italian wifey who was shouting and balling and chucking things. Mercutio and I had a laugh thinking that she was shouting at the husband who she’d caught in bed with a younger model! Was going to  shout at them to shut up, when we thought  that perhaps we’d just shut it. didn’t want to wake up with a horse head in my bed.

We ate at a real family run outfit with “Mama” in the kitchen, who was cooking in her slippers, awesome food.

“bye bye” the taxi driver picked us up at 5.25am, so a kip on the train is in order.

“Sleep dwell upon thy eyes”
