Ok, so I have been neglecting the blog. Molfetta has treated us very well indeed. We are staying in a massive monastery (not as big as Mansion Montague - Which is much larger than the Capulet house by the way.) by the sea front. It’s very cosy. An actual Monk gave us our room keys!

The two guys who run the Theatre, Fredrico and Pantelao (apologies for the spelling) are brilliant, kind and generous. They have treated us to quite a few meals, taken us to visit the neighboring town and Pantelao treated us to a great personalised performance of the Italian Punch and Judy which he performed.

Another memeber of the company here, Matilda, took Mercutio, Juliet, Ali and Myself into Bari, the city closet to us, and we visited St. Nicholas’s church. Magnificent. Although old saint Nic wasn’t in his usual get up.

Matlida and her parents also had us all in their home for a wonderful home cooked traditional Neapolitan meal (Her mother is from Naples).

Amongst other things here we have also been round the old historic town centre, visited an art gallery which, been on the dodgems and Juliet and I went on those trampolene things that have bungies attached?! We could see the whole of Molfetta from up there.

Juliet continues to enjoy too much of the occasional Grappe! I can’t stop eating a dessert with every meal, and Mercutio has been dying on stage every day.

Last performance in Molfetta tonight.
